These Terms of Use govern your specific use of the Boomirang streaming service. They supplement and should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions. By accessing or streaming content on Boomirang, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. The Streaming Service

Boomirang grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and stream content available on the Platform for your personal, non-commercial, private use only. This licence does not include any right to:

• Reproduce, download, copy, or redistribute any content from the Platform.
• Sell, resell, or commercially exploit any portion of the service or its content.
• Frame or mirror any portion of the Platform on any other server or device.
• Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform without our express written permission.

2. Account Access and Devices

Your Boomirang account is for your personal use. You may access your account on personal devices you own or control, including desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.

Simultaneous streaming on multiple devices may be limited. We reserve the right to restrict the number of concurrent streams per account.

3. Account Sharing

Sharing your Boomirang account credentials with individuals outside your household is not permitted. We may detect and restrict access if account sharing is detected, including limiting access to your primary location.

Each household member who wishes to use Boomirang independently should create their own free account.

4. Geographic Availability

Boomirang is designed primarily for audiences in Australia. Some content may not be available in all regions due to licensing restrictions. We do not guarantee that any particular content will be available in your location at any given time.

Using a VPN, proxy, or other technology to circumvent geographic restrictions is a violation of these Terms of Use and may result in account suspension.

5. Content Availability

Boomirang reserves the right to add, modify, or remove content from the Platform at any time without notice. The availability of any title is not guaranteed and may change due to licensing arrangements, content policy decisions, or other factors.

6. Streaming Quality

Streaming quality depends on your internet connection speed and device capabilities. We do not guarantee a minimum level of video quality or streaming performance. We recommend a minimum internet speed of 5 Mbps for standard definition and 15 Mbps for high definition streaming.

7. Watch Progress and Data

Boomirang stores your watch progress (e.g., where you left off in a film or episode) to provide a seamless viewing experience. This data is associated with your account and used solely for service functionality. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

8. User Conduct During Streaming

You agree not to:

• Use screen recording software, capture cards, or any other technology to record or copy streaming content.
• Circumvent, remove, or bypass any digital rights management (DRM) technology protecting content on the Platform.
• Publicly display or perform content streamed from Boomirang without authorisation (e.g., in cinemas, bars, hotels, or other public venues).
• Upload streamed content to any third-party platform, file sharing service, or social media.

9. Watchlist and User Features

Features such as the Watchlist are provided for your personal convenience. We may modify, limit, or remove these features at any time. Your Watchlist data may be lost if your account is terminated.

10. Filmmaker Creator Accounts

If you have been granted Creator access to upload content to Boomirang, your use of the Creator Studio is governed by these Terms of Use, the Terms and Conditions, and the Content Policy. Creator access may be revoked at any time for violation of any of these documents.

11. Notifications

By creating an account, you consent to receiving service notifications, including email notifications about new content, account activity, and platform updates. You may manage notification preferences in your account settings or by contacting hello@boomirang.com.

12. Service Interruptions

We may temporarily suspend access to the Platform for maintenance, upgrades, or emergency reasons. We will endeavour to minimise disruptions but accept no liability for service interruptions.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use periodically. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this page regularly.
